Directions to the house
From Lochmaddy ferry head south through town. Go past the school and take the second turning to the right signposted Sollas and Otternish ferry to Leverburgh, Harris. Continue on this road for approx. 5 miles. Just past the quarry take the turning to the right, signposted to the ferry. After approximately 1.5 miles, past the turn to the cemetery, you will come up over the brow of the hill and there is a spectacular view towards Berneray and Harris weather permitting. About ½ mile on the left you will see a large white house with a few trees and a walled garden . Take the track to the left past some rather dilapidated farm buildings and a white cottage with a blue door and drive through the cattle grid to the house.
 

Ferries
Ferries operate between Uig, Skye and Lochmaddy, North Uist either once or twice a day.
